I’m a little behind in my blogging, but thus is the downfall of wedding season. This is a bit out of order, but I REALLY wanted to share this amazing wedding so I’m jumping ahead of schedule. I promise I will go back though and fill in what I’ve been up to for the past month sometime soon!
Elvis and Tina were married this past Saturday at the Boston Hyatt Harborside overlooking a gorgeous skyline at sunset. Everything from the weather to the flowers to Tina’s dress and accessories to their decor was flawless. I can still remember meeting this giggly couple almost a year ago…Elvis had just bought an SLR camera and wanted to spend our entire consultation talking about lenses and f-stops (I won’t hold it against him that he bought a Canon). Tina and I tried to keep him focused on the wedding details, but it showed me that this couple KNEW good photography and really wanted to make it an important part of their wedding day. I immediately wanted to work with them and was so thrilled when they decided they wanted to have me as a part of their special day.
The Boston Hyatt Harborside often gets overlooked because it is “technically” part of the airport, but of all of the places in downtown Boston that I’ve photographed, it was by far one of my favorites. The sheek and modern decor of the hotel makes it an insane place to photograph and the gorgeous view of the Boston skyline at sunset is breathtaking beyond words. The billowing outdoor tent was made even more spectacular by Boston Uplights, who dramatically shifted the mood throughout the evening from soft and romantic to hot and sexy!
Elvis and Tina kept the wedding elegant, yet casual. Guests were treated to a candy bar where they could fix their own goodie bag with their favorite sweet treats. Oh yeah, and did I mention the sunset they got to watch?!? Perhaps I should stop taking about it and just show you..
But can I first just say how adorable these two are! I absolutely heart this photo – it sums them up PERFECTLY.

First Look.

So beautiful.

Tina kept trying to tell me she wasn’t photogenic. By the time we were finished for the evening, I had to finally tell her that I thought she was crazy. She’s gorgeous in front of the camera!

Not a bad backdrop for your wedding, huh?

The bridal party was so much fun! I didn’t even tell Elvis to pick Tina up…he just did because he felt like it!

Before the reception started, I caught the two of them practicing for their choreographed first dance. I thought it was such a sweet moment.
Love orange for weddings!

Sigh. So beautiful.
Congratulations Elvis and Tina!
