The clouds had rolled in and sat like a soft blanket of blue, hovering above infamous Lafayette Park…and the White House. To say the view from the Top of the Hay Adams Hotel was nice would be an understatement – it was gorgeous, as were the billowing branches of cherry blossoms delicately arranged along the long banquet tables. Every detail was perfect, down to the all white wedding cake, intricately detailed with hundreds of flower petals that were an exact match to the ones on Elizabeth’s Monique Lhuillier Dress and Veil.
I didn’t get the opportunity to spend too much time with Elizabeth and Andrew before the wedding, but what time we did spend together, I could tell that these two individuals work very hard and are extremely organized. I could tell that Elizabeth, much like myself, is a perfectionist – it is a quality to be admired, especially when you see it come to life in something as beautiful as a wedding. What is even more amazing though is that after all of the hard work and perfecting of details, when it was all said and done, Elizabeth and Andrew definitely just let go, relaxed and enjoyed themselves completely and totally on their wedding day.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this wedding a success!
