Jennifer + Jamie
12.12.12
Jen is a classic beauty. I first met her over a year ago while working on a wedding at Trump National Golf Course, where Jen is the Director of Events. She was sweet, bubbly and a ton of fun to work with. Less than a year later, I got an email from her saying she was engaged herself. I was obviously completely flattered and excited to work with her on her own wedding!
Jen and Jamie planned a late fall wedding in downtown DC at the Four Seasons in Georgetown. Without exception, Jen looked STUNNING. Her lace dress was breathtaking on her and her shoes were bold and fun, just like her. As Jamie so playful wrote on Facebook, “I definitely married up….” (Jamie, I’m going to politely disagree and say you and Jen are a perfect match!)
The wedding itself was a blend of classic DC mixed with a fun and playful vibe, from the politically themed photobooth to the delicious Black&White Dessert Bar completed with a groom’s cake in the shape of a doctor’s white lab coat (Jamie is a Orthopedic Surgeon). In so many ways, Jen + Jamie found ways to bring their own personalities into the wedding day, and even some special family members. Bentley, their adorable dog, made her way down the aisle for the ceremony and sat patiently while Jen + Jamie said their vows.
As always, (and I know Jen would want me to give them a very big shout out since she works in the industry and knows how hard everyone worked), thank you to the wonderful vendors who made Jen and Jamie’s wedding day beautiful and memorable!
