Originally from the Midwest, I found a home here on the East Coast back in 2001 when I moved to Boston to study Graphic Design and Photojournalism.  To this day, I still find it weird that strangers on the East Coast don’t say hello in elevators.

After working as the Director of Marketing for a small Portrait Studio, I started my own wedding photography business in 2006.  In 2008, I relocated down to the DC area and immediately fell in love with it.

Located in northern Virginia, I photograph around 20 weddings each year as well as children and family portraiture.  As traveling is my second love, I am available for commissions anywhere in the US, as well as abroad.

I continue to work on personal photography projects as well and look forward to publishing a book of my work some day.  My personal work can currently be viewed at Dulles Airport as part of the International Gateway Gallery.
