Jess + Ed were married in a quaint little town in Pennsylvania earlier this fall.  Seeing as how they met and fell in love in Washington DC, it was important to them to capture that quintessential DC vibe in some portraits post-wedding so we spent an afternoon together enjoying a beautiful fall day in downtown DC.  Jess put on her GORGEOUS Matthew Christopher dress again and we started over the river in Virginia at Iwo Jima to capture the beautiful, soft light setting over the city before heading to the Lincoln Memorial for some nighttime portraits with one of the most iconic monuments in the country.
