Cicely is one of the most inspiring women I have the pleasure of knowing.  An extremely talented photographer herself (check out her work here!) she is constantly pushing me to the edge of my creative limits.  When I first found out she was pregnant, I immediately began sketching her maternity shoot in my head.  I knew nothing girly or frilly would do for this momma-to-be.  I also wanted to honor her favorite color of all time – black!  Yes, maybe not the most maternal color under the sun, but dressing it up with a gorgeous, full length tulle skirt and a  feminine mask softened the shoot just enough to really pull out the beautiful tonal qualities while highlighting this gorgeous momma-to-be.
