It’s easy for life to move quickly.  I’ve known talented mom and entrepreneur, Kate, for quite a few years as our paths first crossed in the wedding industry.  A talented and creative wedding planner with Simply Chic Events, Kate and I worked together before for mutual clients, but this was the first opportunity I had to capture her beautiful (and expanding) family.  As we were chatting about my Studio’s move to Leesburg, she mentioned that she had never had maternity portraits or newborn family photos taken with either of her other two boys, Clark and Ike.  Since Baby Drake was going to be her last pregnancy and newborn, it became clear to me just how important it was for her to capture this time in her family’s life, growing from a family of 4 to a permanent family of 5.

We started with maternity photos of her and her two eldest boys, photographed at Morven Park in Leesburg.  While anxious for baby Drake to arrive, I could tell this time with her two boys before adding a third was very important to her.

After the arrival of Baby Drake, I was thrilled to be part of that special time as the boys got to know their little brother at only 7 days old. The Three Musketeers already looking out for each other!
